![]() As a follow up to the New Moon in Cancer and the accompanying Solar Eclipse, this Full Moon in Capricorn and Partial Lunar Eclipse in Capricorn gives us a unique opportunity to release energies that block our potential for growth. To recap, on New Moons we set intentions relating to our desires and dreams and on the Full Moon we do the work needed to achieve them. This Lunar Eclipse provides us with extra energy in order to manifest our desires quicker and helps us navigate the pathways we need to travel in order to get to our destination: success. The difference between a Solar Eclipse and Lunar Eclipse (apart from the name and the bodies involved) is this: Solar Eclipses gives us information relating to things we are capable of mastering and integrating into our daily practices. Lunar Eclipses show us what needs to be released in order for this integration to occur. During this time, think back to January when the New Moon was in Capricorn: what intentions did you set then? How have you moved forward in achieving those goals? Does anything need to be adjusted or released? Think about the path you are currently on. Does it resonate with what you dreamt your life would be or do you need to make some changes? Divine information is only useful if it’s utilized into everyday life. Compare your intentions set at the New Moon in Capricorn with the intentions you set during the New Moon in Cancer and the Solar Eclipse. How can you use the potent energy of this Full Moon to boost the work you need to do? This is the time to release whatever distracts you from being centred and aligned with your core values. Don’t know what your core values are? Find out. Capricorn also supports us energetically through structure, order, and discipline: useful qualities to have when you are creating a plan for yourself to include your core principles. When you align with the higher vibrations of Capricorn, you define your centre and your core. Living and acting from that place of integrity naturally leads you to feeling secure, as you trust yourself and the decisions you make. When we don’t live in accordance to our principles and core values, we find ourselves doubting every decision and judging those around us. We feel threatened by those we work with which encourages us to gossip or criticize. We forget our inner power and become anxious, leading us to take power from those around us.We need an authentic feeling of security and stability in our lives that only comes when we let go of the negative aspects and embrace our true values. Take some time to reevaluate your values and see where you out of alignment. Get grounded and dig deep to find out what is holding you back from being aligned and release it. Journal, meditate, take a salt bath, whatever you normally do to release the insecurity that comes from not trusting ourselves and looking outside of ourselves for power. When you bring yourself back to centre and engage in authentic feelings of stability and security, you will begin to reflect your true values.
