June is home to both Gemini and Cancer seasons. Its a time of shifting energy in both hemisphere's, either from Spring to Summer or from Fall to Winter. Every time the seasons change it is a call to be present, to notice that ebbs and flows of our sensory world.
The witches of the world celebrate the Earth as a religion, the moon and sun as deities. June is a time of beginnings and play. It's a time when some cycles end and others are just beginning.
June 2019 vibrates to the global number 18/9.
9 is the number of endings and beginnings. It's the joy of completion and the fear of the unknown. This is a halfway number, despite being the final single digit number, because it teeters endlessly between the old and the new. When we end one cycle we are also beginning another.
18/9 is influenced by the tarot card the Moon. So this particular 9 vibration is about not being able to see the full picture yet, it's about learning from the darkness in your life, it's about leaning on trust, it's about moving outside of the realms of sensory perceptions and into the world of Divine trust.
June 2019 is asking us to move our attention inward. 9 is often a loud, upbeat, expansive number but this particular vibration is a call to do some shadow work. There is a feeling of shedding that must take place during this time, whether willfully or not is up to you. 9, as I've said, is the number of endings and beginnings, since it is the final single digit base number; so it's the number that resembles the idea that, "when one door closes another door opens." There are doors to be opened in July but in June we need to figure out what doors need closing and how we are going to close them.
The new moon in Gemini takes place on the 3rd and vibrates, you guessed it, to the number 21/3. I think it is so interesting that, not only has 21/3 been the vibration for almost every new moon so far this year, but that we are also currently in a 3 year.
The 3 year we are in is a 12/3, so what is the significance of a continual call to action upon a 21/3 day?
21/3 is an end to cycles, but a very hopeful one. 12/3 is about how our perceptions of the world are varied, unique, and completely personal based off of our individual lives. The number 3 is the number of expansion and learning, so as a whole we are being asked to expand beyond the limitations we've believed that we must live inside of. Expansion can hurt and that's what we see in 12/3, but there is so much joy and hope for the future in 21/3.
New moons are a time to feel hopeful, to believe that you deserve whatever it is you wish to call in, and 21/3 is the vibration that believes in you and wants to help you take that one step closer to your goal.
This is a good day to talk to your siblings and ask them about their lives, pick up a new book about a topic you know nothing about, day dream about what sort of people you'd like to have a conversation with, walk around the block and think of memories on each corner (and try to make a new one). Call in a new friend or mentor! Ask the moon to bring you new knowledge.
On June 4th the planet of communication and travel goes into deeply feeling Cancer. The global vibration for this day is 22, the master number that speaks to the building of nations. This number is very much about the small, scary steps we have to take every day in order to build a life that's solid and stable. With the planet Mercury in watery Cancer this vibration takes on the idea of emotional stability.
Today is a good day to tell someone how you're feeling in regards to your relationship (remember that we are in relationships with everyone in our lives, this is not strictly a romantic relationship). Today is also a good day to look into therapy, remembering that therapy can take many different, valid forms.
On June 9th Venus the planet of love, art, and money goes into free and flirty Gemini. This day vibrates to the number 27/9. The number 9, as we know now, is about ending and beginnings. Today is a day where you will feel inspired to blow it all up and start again, but it's also a day when you need to sit with your desire for newness and change. It is not a day to act.
Write down your dreams and make action plans. Today is a good day to let the creativity flow, get excited about life, but enjoy sitting in this excitement for the day. Now is not a day for grand action. It is a day of dreaming and creating.
Father's day in the US falls on June 16th this year and vibrates to the number 34/7. When we are living through a 7 day we tend to have quite a lot of mental activity happening. If you're an anxious person this can be heightened on a 7 day because it is the number of questioning. There's an essence of "what am I doing all of this for?" on this day. Be prepared to sit with that and possibly work through some things.
If you're spending the day with family make sure that you are prepared. Whether you love your family unconditionally or not, this kind of vibration can give someone a short temper due to anxiety. There is a tiredness to this vibration. I love a 7 day, but they are usually best spent alone. Make sure you know how to protect yourself and your energy today.
On June 17th the moon will be full and bright in philosophical Sagittarius. This day will vibrate to the number 35/8. This is a very busy vibe, and when we get this busy there are only two ways to see it: with gratitude or annoyance. Which one will you choose? If you feel more annoyed than grateful it would be a good idea to sit down and figure out how to cut the fat out of your daily life. That is to say, what isn't serving you? What tasks are sucking the joy and leaving you exhausted? And even if you feel annoyed and tired on this day know that you can still find gratitude.
This is a good day to reorganize your workload, drink lots of coffee, listen to your favorite songs or podcasts while you work, dance with abandon when no one is looking, drive out into a secluded part of the forest and scream into the abyss. Your choice.
Ah, Summer Solstice or Midsummer, that beautiful time when the sun graces us with it's light. This is a holy day for many pagans, as well as being the first day of summer and the start of Cancer season. This day vibrates to the number 39/3 and and what a gloriously appropriate number this is for the day!
3's can be about uncomfortable growth and expansion, but sometimes they are lighter than that. This 3 is more about socializing, being in love, going to parties, and kissing everyone you can (consensually).
So this is a good day to celebrate with friends, have a few drinks, make art, make each other laugh until you cry. This is also a good day for first dates or new love, it may fade into oblivion but at least for today it will feel eternal.
On June 27th Mercury moves into Leo for a bit before it stations to go retrograde again in July. This day vibrates to the number 45/9. This is a day of loss. We know that all 9 vibrations are about endings and beginnings, dancing their endless dance, doors closing and opening, and there are many opportunities to end cycles and tie up loose ends this month! This particular vibration hurts on an emotional level, though. Some of us may need to distance ourselves from loved ones, break up or be broken up with.
This is a good day to evaluate your boundaries and pay attention to which people give you energy or which drain your energy. This is a good day to cry (or sing) in the shower or bath, listen to old songs from your youth, and journal or write about your life. The thing about emotions is that they demand to be felt. Feel them today, it's ok.
There you have it folks, that the vibe fo the month ahead. It's time to wrap up some cycles, to say a few good byes, to fall in love and fall back out again. Next month will be filled with new opportunities and the confusion that sometimes come with them, so recognize that anything that happens this month is only to prepare you for what is to come. Let go and let goddess.
