Daily glamours for the bustling witch
For something that is in such high demand and so easily given, you would think we could spare a little for ourselves. As an Aphrodite honoree, I can appreciate all the thrill, excitement, and passion that love has to offer. But I also understand that the purest affection is our own – if we just make it so.
I perform love magic, not on romantic partners but on myself. Glamours help me embody who I have always been. The confidence, the strength, the allure is all there, as it is in everyone. I am just bringing it forth and opening my eyes to what I refuse to see.
So, where do you start? Do you have daily criticisms? Perceived shortcomings? Hopes?
Write them down and be kind. If your friend was pouring out their deepest insecurities, how would you respond? Be supportive, inspiring, but more importantly, honest.
As someone who is well-versed with their own insecurities, I do not ask this lightly. If I am having a particularly rough day with self-love, I usually meditate or do some sort of other mental clearing activity, like stretching or exercise, as to go in with a clear headspace.
Next, remember, if you know what you need then clearly ask for it. Speak with confidence because you are worthy of this love, worthy of seeing it within you, and worthy of sharing it with the world.
Personally, I believe my most powerful glamours are the rituals I have incorporated into my routine – in the items I have enchanted, in the foods I eat, and in the remedies I carry.
While small, these daily rituals instill confidence and strengthen my power in small ways. Plus, why not reinforce some Goddess energy before work?
Kitchen magic is a simple way of incorporating glamours into food, as it can feel so natural yet meaningful. As I try new recipes or easily mix them into my beverages, I feel clever, creative, and capable.
Ingesting them should also be a mindful act. As hints of sweet lemon and spicy cinnamon tingle your tongue, imagine them soaking into your soul. Continue to envision yourself with these attributes and let this energy carry you throughout the day.
If you are looking for more insight into kitchen glamours, YouTuber and creator, Jessica from BehatiLife eloquently explains some excellent Gourmet Goddess practices, as featured in “8 EASY (BUT POWERFUL) GLAMOUR RITUALS || HERBS, FOODS, & MAGICK.” I must admit, she helped me step up my game with these suggestions. Another powerful yet everyday glamour that I have incorporated into my routine is enchanted items – specifically, my perfume.
Some witches wait for the full or new moon to work with their items, but when I run out of a fragrance, I usually enchant another within a few days.
Finally, anoint the top of the item as you did the bottom.
To reinforce your intentions and remedy even further, repeat this process three times.
Finally, another item I use in my daily glamour routine is a mojo bag. When enchanting a new mojo bag, I usually perform the ritual during an upcoming New or Full moon, depending on if the item is helping me to release or bring upon change.
Be your own Goddess:
Turn on the TV, what example of a woman is it asking you to be? I am asking you to be yourself. Do not get carried away with characteristics that just are not in your repertoire. Ask to see your own beauty, power, and Goddess energy.
I spent too long feeling like a visitor in my own body. Now, for the first time in a while, I feel comfortable in this skin. I just hope these tools can help you too.
Both Gourmet Goddess and Cheeky Enchantment were influenced by the amazing glamour suggestions from the beautiful and talented YouTuber, Jessica from BehatiLife, which were featured in “8 EASY (BUT POWERFUL) GLAMOUR RITUALS || HERBS, FOODS, & MAGICK.”
If you are interested in glamours magic, this video provides a great place to start, as she also suggests other rituals that I highly recommend as well.

I drifted atop the blackened brine. Billowing swells rocked me listlessly as I looked to the pale sky, taking in the salty tide.
I drew a breath and plunged to the lustrous sea. Aventurine waters glistened as sunbeams drenched the depths.
Skimming the shell strewn seabed, I came across a heavy strombus, whose glossy husk spiraled, unbosoming its rosy core.
I carried the strombus ashore, greeted by the ethereal, cerulean sky and tangerine coast.
There she stood – her still, ornate silhouette.
I placed the shell at her feet then awoke in my bed, confused and amiss.
I wanted to return. Her pull, still so fervent and I was drawn to the ocean.
The stormy shore sent blistering winds. As shards of sand whipped my face, I resisted them.
With the water finally in my sights, I looked down and a strombus laid before me, cracked and roughened. I picked up the shell and I knew she awaited me once more.
